Travel

The island of Nantucket is accessible only by boat or plane. Because of the proximity of the event to downtown town, cars are not necessary. Taxi service is available as needed.

Airlines

Jet Blue offers roundtrip service from Boston, New York, NY and Washington DC to Nantucket.

Cape Air offers flights from Hyannis and Boston. Flying time from Boston is approximately 45 minutes. Flying time from Hyannis is approximately 12 minutes.

Ferries

Hy-Line’s Cruises offers one hour, high-speed ferry service from Hyannis to Nantucket. Early reservations are highly recommended.

The Steamship Authority offers one hour, high-speed ferry service from Hyannis to Nantucket. Early reservations are highly recommended.

The Steamship Authority also offers traditional ferry service from Hyannis to Nantucket that takes approximately two hours and fifteen minutes.

Cars can be brought aboard the traditional Steamship Authority ferry. (Cars are not at all necessary for the conference.) Early reservations are very highly recommended if you plan to bring a car.

The Seastreak offers seasonal high-speed ferry service from New Bedford, MA to Nantucket. Early reservations are highly recommended.

Note: Ferry terminals are a 10-15 minute walk to the Jared Coffin House or the White Elephant (where room blocks are available). Taxi service and van service, offered by the hotels, is also available when you depart from the ferry.
