The island of Nantucket
is accessible only by boat or plane. Because of the
proximity of the event to all local attractions, cars are
not necessary. Transportation to the Island is available
through ferry and airport
service. The pre-conference sessions held on Thursday
afternoon as well as the opening reception will be held at
the White
Elephant. The main sessions for the 2010 Nantucket
Conference will be held at the Jared
Coffin House. Both hotels are a 10-15 minute walk from
the ferry terminals. Taxi service is also available.
