Please note: Each Nantucket Conference attendee is responsible for making his/her own hotel reservations. Please review all polices regarding your reservations with the hotel/inn where you book your lodging.
Room blocks are available at the Westmoor Club, the Jared Coffin House and the White Elephant. The pre-conference sessions held on Thursday afternoon as well as the Thursday opening reception will be held at the Westmoor Club. All main sessions will be held at the Westmoor Club. The Friday evening lobster bake will be held at the White Elephant.
In addition to the Westmoor Club, Jared Coffin House and White Elephant there are a number of nearby hotels/inns which may provide more economical and convenient options for lodging.
Westmoor Club Reservations
Seven rooms are available at the Westmoor Club at a rate of $225/night, plus tax. These rooms provide the most convenient location to the conference sessions. To make a reservation, please call the Westmoor Club at 508-228-9494 and mention that you would like a room from the block being held for the Nantucket Conference.
Jared Coffin House and White Elephant Reservations
The Jared Coffin House and White Elephant are located less than 1 1/2 miles from the Westmoor Club. Shuttle service will be available as well as bike rentals.
Participants of the 2012 Nantucket Conference can reserve rooms at the Jared Coffin House at group rates ranging from $225 - $260/night, plus tax or at the White Elephant at group rates ranging from $360 - $450/night, plus tax. Cottages are available at the White Elephant at group rates ranging from $375 - $810/night, plus tax. Check-in time is after 3:00pm and check-out time is 11am. Both the Jared Coffin House and the White Elephant will have baggage storage available. Deposits are required at the time of booking to guarantee reservations. All deposits are refundable up to twenty-one (21) days of the scheduled arrival date, less a $25.00 processing fee. Within 21 days of the scheduled arrival date, Nantucket Island Resorts will not refund or transfer deposits regardless of the reason for cancellation. If you would like to make a reservation, please call reservations at 1-800-ISLANDS (1-800-475-2637) and mention that you would like a room from the block being held for the Nantucket Conference. The room block will be held until April 28, 2012. After April 28th, reservations will be honored on a space and rate available basis.
Hotels/inns in the downtown Nantucket vicinity follow. Note: Shuttle service to the Westmoor Club will run from the Jared Coffin House and White Elephant. Almost all of the inns below are within a short walk to both of these inns.
Beachside at Nantucket: Situated in the lovely Brant Point residential neighborhood, the Beachside is a short 5-minute walk to Jetties Beach and a 10 minute walk to the White Elephant, 800.322.4433. Room rates: $265-$630.
Brant Point Inn & Atlantic Mainstay: Distinguished by fine island craftsmanship and attention to detail, both inns are traditional post-and-beam guest houses furnished with an eye to comfort and country living, The Brant Point Inn is a 5 minute walk to the White Elephant, 508.228.5442. Brass Lantern Inn: Stay in the ambiance of a historic bed & breakfast or the contemporary "Nantucket Style" decor of the Garden Wing, A few minutes walk to the Jared Coffin House, 508.228.4064. Room rates: $265-$500.
Century House: One of Nantucket Island's luxury bed and breakfast inns, the Century House offers history, comfort, privacy and luxury. Located in a residential area, less than a 10 minute walk to the Jared Coffin House or White Elephant, 508.228.0530. Room rates $295-$525.
Martin House Inn: Built in 1803, the Martin House Inn is located in Nantucket's historic district. A few blocks from the White Elephant, 508.228.0678. Room rates: $125-$405.
Nantucket Whaler Guest House: Former home of a whaling captain and now a small, sophisticated inn catering to those seeking privacy and luxury. Most rooms are suites. Short walk to the Jared Coffin House, 888.808.6597. Room rates $325-$795.
Seven Sea Street: Charming bed and breakfast, on a quiet tree-lined street. Rooms and suites available. Short walk to the Jared Coffin House, 800.651.9262. Room rates $99-$429.
Sherburne Inn: The Sherburne Inn is described as providing a rare combination of today's amenities coupled with 1835 ambiance. The Inn is a half block from the Jared Coffin House, 800.577.4425. Room rates $250-$375.
The Roberts House Inn: A collection of over 40 bed and breakfast hotel rooms across four properties. Some are a short walk to the Jared Coffin House, 800-872-6830. Room rates: $150-$495.
